1. Security Plugins:

Security is one of the most important aspects of your blog/website. Each day thousands of website got hacked over the internet.

After starting your blog/website it is your responsibility to secure your blog/website. If you don’t secure your blog/website you can lose all your valuable content. And you will also lose readers faith.

Security plugins provide features like site monitoring, firewall, blocking, malware scanning etc.

Some recommended security plugins are:-

MalCare:

A Complete WordPress security plugin developed by the team behind Blogvault (one of the best WordPress backup plugin).

MalCare provides complete WordPress security solution by hardening the Firewall, Login protection, and powerful Malware scanner.

2. Optimization Plugin:

Database optimization plugins:

Database optimization plugin helps to optimize your database. One of the best plugins to optimize your database is wp-optimize.

It helps you to remove unnecessary data i.e trackbacks/pingbacks, revisions, comments remaining for moderation.

Image Optimization Plugins:

Image optimization plugins help you to optimize the images you uploaded to your blog/website. It reduces the page loading time of your blog/website.

It compresses the image and reduces its size for fast loading of the page. Plugins which you can give a try is Wp smush, Ewww image optimizer, and Short pixel.

3. Caching Plugins:

Caching plugins help to reduce page loading time. Page loading time has the direct impact on your search rankings. If your blog/website loads quickly then there are chances that visitors will stay on your blog/website.

But if your site loads slowly then visitors will bounce away from your website and it increases your bounce rate which is bad for your blog/website.

The best caching plugin is Wp total cache and an alternative of it is Wp super cache.

4. SEO:

SEO stands for search engine optimization. These plugins help to increase our search engine ranking and drive lots of organic traffic to your blog/website.

I use  Yoast SEO. It helps you to write titles & meta tags, meta descriptions easily.

You can also use to generate XML sitemap of your site. It also provides features to indexing and no indexing your content. You can select what should be indexed by search engines bots and what should not.

Another suggestion is All in one Seo Pack.

5. Social Sharing Plugin:

Social sharing plugins are must for every new blogger because it is very difficult to get direct traffic from search engines.

So Social sharing plugins can act as a savior for a newbie blogger. It also helps to build the good relationship with your readers and followers.

There are lots of socials sharing plugins but which I would recommend is Social Warfare. It is a very lightweight plugin.

Also, you can use Mass share, Easy social share buttons, and SumoMe.

6. Contact Form Plugin:

Contact plugins allow you to generate contact forum for your blog/website. They help your reader to get in contact with you.

Your readers can send you a mail through those contact form.

One of the best contact forum plugins which I use is Contact Form 7. It allows you to generate a shortcode of the contact form and you can paste that code easily anywhere in the text field.

Another suggestion is Gravity form.

7. Analytics/Site Stats Plugin:

Analytics plugins provide the details of your visitors. It helps you to know the location of your visitors/readers, which devices they are using, how much time they spent on your blog/website?

So by knowing those details, you can understand your readers. And you can make some strategy to increase traffic and you can also make some marketing strategy with those data. So some suggestions are Google analytics counter and Jetpack.

8. Antispam Plugin:-

After starting the blog peoples gets more spam comments than social shares. It is the common problem which every blogger have faced and sometimes it’s become a headache to check out those spammy comments. But with the help of plugins, this can become more easy for you.

You can use Akismet. It is the free plugin and it has more than 22 million downloads. Akismet keeps the record of comments, pingbacks, and trackbacks of your blog.
